If your run does not finish and deliver its result, the order is refunded automatically through your original payment processor (LemonSqueezy for USD orders, Razorpay for INR orders). You do not need to email us or fill out a form. A run is delivered in stages (first your workspace of opportunities, then deep research on the ones you pick), and each stage that has been delivered is final. Your included deep research runs never expire, so anything you have not used stays yours.
A run is considered failed when:
In any of these cases the run status flips to failed in our system. The refund is initiated automatically.
If a later stage fails after your workspace was delivered, you get that stage back as a free re-run, not a cash refund. Any deep research runs it used go straight back into your balance, and a paid one-off that failed (an extra deep research run, or a Launch Kit) is restored so you can run it again at no extra charge. The workspace itself stays yours.
When a run is marked failed, we trigger a refund through your original payment processor back to the original payment method. USD orders are refunded through LemonSqueezy. INR orders are refunded through Razorpay. You will get an email from the processor confirming the refund.
Refunds usually clear in a few business days, depending on your bank and card issuer. Some banks may take up to 10 business days to show the credit on your statement.
A run is delivered in stages: first your workspace of opportunities, then deep research on the ones you pick. Each stage that has been delivered is final and is not eligible for a refund, because you have received that part of the product. Deep research runs you have not used yet never expire.
Disagreeing with the AI-generated rankings, content, or framing is not grounds for a refund. The output is non-deterministic by nature. If none of the opportunities on your workspace fit, the plans with deep research built in (Find My Best Direction, Pro, and Scale) each include one free refresh: tell us what missed and the engine rebuilds your workspace of opportunities before you spend any deep research runs.
If you believe your run finished but the workspace never reached you (email failed, link broken, the page renders blank), email hello@ideatwister.com with your run reference (visible on the status page or in any of our emails) and we will look into it manually.
If you were billed twice for the same run by mistake, email us. Duplicate charges are always refunded.

In either case, we initiate the refund and the processor sends the funds back to your original payment method. The exact timing depends on your bank.
