Our Guarantee

Failed runs are refunded automatically

If your run does not finish and deliver a dashboard, the order is refunded automatically through your original payment processor (LemonSqueezy for USD orders, Razorpay for INR orders). You do not need to email us or fill out a form. Completed runs that delivered a working dashboard are not eligible for a refund because you have received the core value of the product.

Note on LLM outputs: IdeaTwister is powered by large language models, which are inherently non-deterministic. Output quality and depth vary across runs even with identical inputs. Dissatisfaction with the style or quality of generated ideas is not grounds for a refund.

1. What counts as a failed run

A run is considered failed when:

  • The engine errors out before producing a dashboard.
  • The LLM provider rejects the prompt (policy or safety filter) and no usable pivots are returned.
  • The run exceeds the time budget for its tier and is terminated.
  • An infrastructure error on our side stops the run from completing.

In any of these cases the run status flips to failed in our system. The refund is initiated automatically.

2. How the automatic refund works

When a run is marked failed, we trigger a refund through your original payment processor back to the original payment method. USD orders are refunded through LemonSqueezy. INR orders are refunded through Razorpay. You will get an email from the processor confirming the refund.

Refunds usually clear in a few business days, depending on your bank and card issuer. Some banks may take up to 10 business days to show the credit on your statement.

3. Completed runs are not eligible

If your run finished and delivered a dashboard you can open, the run is considered complete and is not eligible for a refund. The dashboard URL is the deliverable. Once it is generated, the value has been delivered.

Disagreeing with the AI-generated rankings, content, or framing is not grounds for a refund. The output is non-deterministic by nature. If you want a second pass, you can run the same idea again (each run is priced independently and may surface a different shortlist).

4. Edge cases and exceptions

If you believe your run finished but the dashboard never reached you (email failed, link broken, dashboard renders blank), email hello@ideatwister.com with your run reference (visible on the status page or in any of our emails) and we will look into it manually.

If you were billed twice for the same run by mistake, email us. Duplicate charges are always refunded.

5. Refund processing

Payments and refunds are handled by one of two processors depending on your country:

  • USD orders (outside India): LemonSqueezy as the merchant of record.
  • INR orders (India): Razorpay as the payment gateway, with IdeaTwister as the seller of record.

In either case, we initiate the refund and the processor sends the funds back to your original payment method. The exact timing depends on your bank.
