Terms of Service

IdeaTwister is an online web service. You submit an idea through ideatwister.com/twist, choose a tier (Starter, Founder Pro, Pro, or Scale), pay for that run, and we run the engine on our infrastructure. The output is an interactive results workspace delivered by email and accessible at a unique URL: a ranked set of opportunities for your idea, plus deeper research on the ones you pick.

The engine is powered by large language models from one or more AI providers. We cover the AI provider costs out of the run price. You do not need to bring your own API key.

Each run is priced per tier (Starter, Founder Pro, Pro, or Scale). Current prices for your country are shown on the pricing page. Prices are displayed in USD for buyers outside India and in INR for buyers in India, and exclude local taxes unless explicitly noted at checkout.

Payment processing depends on your country:

• USD orders (outside India) are processed by LemonSqueezy as the merchant of record. LemonSqueezy collects and remits applicable sales tax or VAT at checkout.
• INR orders (India) are processed by Razorpay as the payment gateway, with IdeaTwister as the seller of record. Applicable GST is charged and remitted by IdeaTwister.

We may update tier pricing at any time, including in response to changes in the cost of underlying LLM models. Price changes will only apply to new runs purchased after the change, and existing runs will not be affected.

If a run does not finish and deliver your ranked opportunities, the order is refunded automatically through the original payment processor (LemonSqueezy for USD orders, Razorpay for INR orders). Refunds usually clear within a few business days, depending on your bank. A run is delivered in stages (your ranked opportunities first, then deep research on the picks you choose), and each stage that has reached you is final and not refundable, because that value has been delivered. If a paid later stage fails, you get it back as a free re-run rather than a cash refund.

By submitting an idea, you agree not to:

• Submit prompts that violate the acceptable use policy of our AI provider.
• Submit content that is illegal in your jurisdiction.
• Attempt to abuse, reverse engineer, or interfere with the service or infrastructure.
• Resell, redistribute, or repackage our service as your own.
• Use the service to generate content intended to defraud, harass, or harm specific individuals.

We reserve the right to reject prompts and to suspend access for accounts found to be in violation of these Terms.

The angles, opportunities, scoring, and reports that the engine produces for your idea belong to you. You may use them for any lawful purpose, including commercial use, in your own products, pitches, or businesses.

The IdeaTwister name, brand, agent prompt scaffolding, scoring methodology, and engine code are our intellectual property and are not transferred with the run output. You may not resell or repackage the service itself.

Your idea prompt is processed on our infrastructure and is sent to our AI provider as part of the run. We do not sell or share idea data. Our AI provider is configured for zero data retention on the prompts we send, so your prompts are not used to train third-party models.

Run metadata is stored in our database. Workspace output is stored in our cloud storage. The workspace URL is unguessable and read-only. You decide who sees it by deciding who you share the link with. See the privacy policy for full retention details.

IdeaTwister is powered by large language models. Output is non-deterministic by nature. Quality, depth, and ranking vary across runs even with identical inputs. We do not guarantee that any specific opportunity will turn out to be a viable business, and we are not liable for business decisions made based on the output.

The output is best treated as a structured brainstorming aid, not a substitute for independent due diligence.

We aim to keep IdeaTwister available continuously. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, infrastructure failures, or AI provider outages may cause delays or temporary unavailability. Failed runs are refunded automatically as described above.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability to you for any claim arising from your use of IdeaTwister is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific run that gave rise to the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

We may update these Terms over time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising under these Terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless prohibited by your local consumer law.
