Privacy Policy

When you place an order and run the engine, we collect:

• Your email address (from your payment processor at checkout), so we can send you the workspace link and the order receipt.
• Your idea prompt, which is the text you submit on /twist.
• The tier you chose (Validate This Idea, Find My Best Direction, Pro, or Scale) and the run status (queued, running, completed, failed).
• Payment metadata from our payment processor (LemonSqueezy for USD orders, Razorpay for INR orders): order ID, country for tax purposes, and timestamps. We do not see or store full card numbers.
• Basic site analytics (page views, click events) through Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics, and optionally Meta and Google Ads pixels for attribution. You can opt out via the cookie banner.

When your order lands, our engine reads the prompt and sends it through our AI provider (currently Google Gemini, with Anthropic Claude and OpenAI GPT as fallbacks). The provider returns opportunities, scoring, and analysis, which are rendered into your workspace.

Our AI provider is configured for zero data retention on the prompts we send, so your prompts are not used to train third-party models. Our engine communicates with the provider over their official API. We do not log full prompt content beyond what is needed to compose the workspace.

• Run metadata (your email, prompt, tier, status, run reference) is stored in our Supabase Postgres database located in the EU.
• Workspace output (the rendered HTML and the underlying JSON) is stored in Cloudflare R2 and served via a stable URL.
• Email delivery (run confirmations, completion, failures) goes through Resend.
• Payments are processed by either LemonSqueezy or Razorpay depending on your country. For USD orders (outside India), LemonSqueezy acts as the merchant of record and handles taxes globally. For INR orders (India), Razorpay acts as the payment gateway and IdeaTwister is the seller of record (GST is collected and remitted by IdeaTwister where applicable).

The workspace URL contains an unguessable random token. Anyone with the link can view the workspace. We do not show your workspace to anyone else. You decide who sees it by deciding who you share the link with. If a link is shared by mistake, email us and we will rotate the token.

We share data only with the service providers we need to deliver the product:

• LemonSqueezy (USD orders) and Razorpay (INR orders) for payment processing and applicable tax handling.
• Resend for transactional email delivery.
• Supabase for database hosting.
• Cloudflare R2 for workspace storage.
• Vercel for hosting and infrastructure.
• Our AI provider for generating opportunities from your prompt.
• Google Analytics and the configured ad pixels for attribution analytics.

We do not sell idea data, prompts, or personal information to anyone.

Run metadata and workspace output are retained for as long as the workspace URL is in use. We keep them so you can come back to a past run and reopen it. You can ask us to delete a specific run by emailing us with the run reference.

Payment records are retained by our payment processors (LemonSqueezy for USD orders, Razorpay for INR orders) for the period required by their financial and tax obligations.

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete data we hold about you. Email hello@ideatwister.com with your request and your order reference if you have one. We will respond within a reasonable time, typically within a few business days.

We use minimal cookies for analytics and attribution. Details and opt-out options are on the cookie policy page.

We may update this policy over time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top.
